LADIES’ GOLF
avellington club. The annual meeting of the Wellington Ladies’ Golf Club was held yesterday morning, Mrs. AAeston presiding. A ’ satisfactory year was reported. It was decided to increase the entrance fee for competitors from 2s. 6d. to 45., and to play for silver spoons instead of buttons. The election of officers resulted:— Pr-tfident, Miss Duncan; captain, Mrs. T Young; secretary, Miss Mackintosh; committee, Mcsdames Marchbanks and Duncan Stout and Misses Bell and Brandon.
