NELSON NOTES

(By Telegraph—SpA’inl Correspondent.) Nelson, March 17. A fete organised on Saturday afternoon by the Plunket Society realised £ll5. A largo number of competitions, dancing, etc., were arranged, the “decorated” events being an outstanding feature. The competition for tho Passmore Shield has again been won by the Nelson Cadets for the second year in succession. The winners will represent the South Island in the Campbell statuette competition for the champion company of the Dominion. The Nelson cadets now hold this trophy.
