Tho Union Co. received a radio message yesterday from the Maheno. en route from Sydney, stating that she will arrive in tho stream at Wellington at 7.30 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted the Maheno will berth .about 9 o'clock this morning at No. 1 north (outer tee). Queen’s Wharf. She has 242 passenger?. The vessel will leave Wellington at 11 o’clock on Friday morning on the return trip to Sydney. DORSET AT BOSTON. A cn.ble message has been received by the New Zealand Shinning Company reporting the arrival of tho Dorset at- Boston on tho afternoon of January 25. en route from Auckland to London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. The vessel sailed from Auckland on December 17. PORT SYDNEY DUE THURSDAY. The C. and D. Line advise that tfy» Port Sj'dney will now leave Auckland at midday tb-day for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from Txmdon. The vessel is due here on Thursday morning. THE ROTORUA. It is reported by tho Now Zealand Shipping Co. that tho Rotorua, which armed at Bluff on Saturday night from Port Chalmers 1 , will leave Bluff on Friday for Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is due here on February 6. and will sail finally from Wellington on January 9 for Southampton and London, via Panama,. THE CALONNE. Messrs. G. H. Scales and Co. advise that the Calonne will leave Wanganui to-mor-row evening for Wellington, where sip is due on Thursday morning to continue loading for Continental and English ports. Delayed by fog in and about Cook Strait, the Union Co.’s R.M.S. Maunganui was about twelve 'hours late in arriving at Wellington yesterday from Sj’dney. Tlie vessel dropped anchor in the stream at 5.10 p.m., and berthed at No. 2 Queen’s Wharf at. 6.30 p.m. The Maunganui sailed from Sydney at 11 a.m. on Thursday, and experienced fresh south-easterly to south-westerly breezes with rough head seas until longitude 167 east, when the vessel met with light variable winds am) moderate sea. Tlie Federal Line state that the Essex, which is loading at Wanganui, will sail from there on Thursday for New Plymouth. MISCELLANEOUS. The Orepuki is now not expected at Wellington until Thursday from Tivrakohe. She will put out part cargo here, and is to proceed hence to Napier to complete discharge. The John, due at Wellington on Thursday from Lyttelton, will sail the same day on a special trip to Havelock, THE TAIROA’S ITINERARY. Tlie Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. announce an alteration in the loading itinerary of tho Tairoa. The vessel is now due at Wellington on Sunday from Gisborne, where she is now loading. Tlie Tairoa will leave Wellington on Tuesday next for Wanganui roadstead, Timatru. and Bluff. The ship is to sail finally from Bluff on February 20 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe.
