PETONE CLUB The Petone Rifle Club commenced tlio service shooting on Saturday, when tJie conditions were good, and some good, scores were recorded. Rifleman K. Thompson scored the possible in the grouping, and T. Warburton made a fine score of 36 in the rapid out of 40 and 18 out of 20 at 500 yards. R. H. Nicholl was top scorer, but being penalised W. SUBURBS RIFLE CLUB The Suburbs Rifle Club held their annual Held day at Trentham on Annivereary Bay, when the members competed for the “Daily Mail” Cu o and other trophies. The day produced a tew surprises. President Fellingham, who lias not been shooting well this season, came out of his shell and won the short range aggregate, taking the Memorial Cup; he also came second in The lengHramge /xggwegaitev land talkies Mr. Haase’s trophy.
