The Rev. Dr. J, Alfred Sharp, a well known minister and ex-president of the English Wesleyan Methodist Church, will arrive to-day by the s.s. •Maunganui. He is the head of his Church’s large book business in the City Road, London, and is touring the world on matters connected with that establishment. He is a prominent temperance advocate, and is the Assistant Grand Chaplain of English Freemason’s Grand Lodge.
