Tho New Zealand Co-operative Company’s stores, Eden Terrace, collapsed this morning under a weight of / OG<J cases of dried milk, weigning 450 tons. Four workmen got clear by hastily descending when they heard groaning and creaking of timber. The store was only completed two months ago, and was of timber and iron, 100 feet long by 40 feet high. The half cf one wa and thousands of cases of n ‘“k tell into the adjoining section, hundreds oi, cases being damaged.
