SARAZEN WINS IN MATCH WITH HAVERS. (Rec. January 27, 5.5 p.m.) San Francisco, January 25. Sarazen. the United States professional goli champion, was the victor hy three in the first half of a 72-hole maten with Arthur Havers, the British open champion. Sarazen will carry the lead to tttie second half of the match :-t Los Angeles on Sunday. Rain fell most of the day. The total for 36 holes was : Sarazen, 151; Havers, 154. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
