Despite a drizzle which was experienced this morning, play iii the New Zealand Bowling AssociatwiA championship tournament was continued, great interest being manifested m which are now nearing a conclusion. It is hoped that with good luck and fine weather the tournament will ne concluded on Wednesday terday the fifth, sixth, and semi-finals of the rinks contest were plajed on b . The post-sectional pairs games and the two first rounds of toe pairs games were also played on b . Albans green in the morning, and too singles games were contested m tne afternoon. The condition of both greens was not so favourable as could have been wished for on account of the rain overnight, but with a brief spell o sunshine in the afternoon the greens dried up, and by the afternoon tea adjournment were in running order, suits are: — RINKS COMPETITION.
