POLITICAL DEADLOCK
IN CENTRAL PROVINCES OF INDIA. Delhi, January 20.. A political deadlock has arisen in the Central Provinces, lhe Swarajist members of tbe Legislative Council, who form a majority, carried, to’ 44 votes to 24, a resolution of want of confidence in the Moderate Ministers. The Council adjourned sine die. The Governor may order a re-election, or assume the direct administration of the transferred Departments, witnout responsibility to tho Provincial bogLslst.nro.—Roateis
