Tho Shaw-Savill Company’s Tainui sailed from Southampton on January 18 for Auckland, Napier, and Dunedin, She is coming via Panama, and should reach Auckland on February 24. The vessel has passengers and cargo to land at, the northern port, and will subseouently land cargo at Napier and Dunedin. THE KENT. The liner Kent arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Lvttelton. and berthed at the Glasgow Wharf to continue loading. The vessel is to leave here on Thursday for Napier. Whakatane, and Auckland, to complete her cargo for London. THE RUAPEHU. The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the Ruapehu is to leave Lvttelton to-dav for Wellington, arriving hero to-morrow. The vessel is, to load . part cargo here. She is to sail on Saturday next for Southampton and London, via Panama. LOTTIE BENNETT. The four-masted schooner Lottie Bennett, which has been discharging timber from Seattle at Wellington, sailed on Saturday afternoon for Wanganui to lana part cargo there. MAMARI’S ITINERARY. The Shaw-Savill Company renori that the Maniari was expected to leave Gisborne yesterday for Picton and Wellington in continuation of Homeward loading. She is duo here on Wednesday, and will sail on January 29 for Lyttelton to complete loading. She is to leave Lyttelton on February 4 for London, via Montevideo znd Toaeriffe.

PINNA. WITH OIL. The British Imperial Oil Company’s steamer Pinna is due at Wellington this morning from Singapore and Borneo, via Auckland, with part cargo cf oil to discharge here. The vessel will berth at No. 16 Jcrvois Quay. MAIMOA WITH CARGO. The Shaw-Savill Company ' report that the Maimoa sailed from London on the morning of January 18 with cargo to land at Suva. Auckland. New Plymouth, and Lyttelton. She should arrive at Auckland on March 6. TAIROA TO LOAD. The Shaw-Savill Company report that the Tairoa sailed from Newcastle on Friday last to commence a Homewaru loading progr:>nme as Gisborne. She will later load at Napier. Wanganui. Wellington and Bluff. Her dato of departure for Home is not yet ffzed. THE PORT SYDNEY. The C. and D. Co. report that the Port Sydney berthed at Auckland on Saturday morning from London after landing explosives at the powder ground. She is due here on Sunday next to land cargo, and she will later proceed to Lyttelton a:(d 'Port Chalmers to complete discharge. SUFFOLK’S DISCHARGE. The Federal Company report that, the Suffolk is to sail from Wellington on Thursday for Lyttelton and Dunedin tn continue the discharge of her Liverpool cargo. THE MOERAKI. She should sail fi’om here on January 30 for London* via Montevideo. f THE RIRA DAMAGED. ; The well-known ketch Rira. which’ ars rived at Wellington yesterday morning from Auckland, via Gisborne, was severely ' buffeted during her passage from Gisborne in heavy weather, and had her starboard bulwarks 'midships smashed away. The Rira. which has part cargo <IC explosives from Auckland, left G'sborne « a fortnight ago. and was off Cane Palliser a week afterwards. The little vessel : was then blown away down off Katkoura. ' Since then the Rira has been knocking • about off the coast, and three nights be--1 fore making port heavy seas carried away the planking and stanchions of the starboard bulwarks.
