THE CANADLVN TRAVELLER. Mesars. Murray, Roberta afnd Co. advise that the Canadian Traveller is now due at Auckland to-morrow from Adelaide to load for Vancouver. The vessel will afterwards load at Napier and Wellinaton, arrivina here on January 27. She will sail from Wellinaton on January 30 for Vancouver, taking cargo for that port', other Canadian ports, and the United States. THE SUSSEX. Tho Union Co.’s chartered steamer Sussex. which has been in Quarantine in th® stream owing to a case of small-pox on the voyage from tho East, is expected to berth at the King's Wharf this morning to land cairEO. THE RUAPEHU. In continuation of her loading itinerary the New Zealand Shinning Oo.’s liner Ruapehu left Timaru last evening, for Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here on Sunday. THE PORT VICTOR. News was received yesterday by ths C. and D. Line that the Port Victor commenced loading in the Wanganui roadstead yesterday morning, fine weather having set in. Tho vessel is expected at Wellington on Thursday next from War nganui. and she will leave here on January 26 for London, via Montevideo. Y.SABEL, FROM NIUE. Completing a moderate round trin of 415 days to Niue Island the Scales barquontine Ysabel (Captain A. G. Taylor) returned to Auckland on Tuesday afternoon. The vessel left Auckland on December 4. find cleared land two days later. She experienced light easterly winds all the way. and arrived at. ths island on December 23. One hundred and forty-one tons of copra- were loaded at Alofi in the record time of three and a half days. Nearing Aloft on December 26 the vessel encountered the tail end of a cyclone. At 2 a.m. on December 28 she was hove-to. and.for two. hours was shipping heavy seas fore and aft. The weather moderated towards the morning and light north-east winds were carried to Cape Brett, which was picked up on Sunday night. From there to Auckland strong westerly winds, with heavy saualis. were encountered. An accident at the beginning of the voyage resulted in Mr. A. Tennant, the first mate, having tIV first two fingers of his left hand crushed bv a lifeboat. Two passengers arrived— Mesars. R. D. Head and Manetoa. THE TUTANEKAI. The Marine Department report that the Tutanekai is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Cuvier Island lighthouse. She will take stores aboard there prior to proceeding north. THE MOERAKI. The Union Oo.’s Moeraki is due at Bluff at 5 P.m. to-da;z from Melbourne. She should sail from there this evening for Dunedin and should leave Dunedin on Sv for Lvttelton and Wellington. The Moeraki is expected here on V ednesdav morning next, and should get away later in the day for Melbourne direct. TURAKINA SAILS TO-DAY. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s cargo steamer Turakina arrived at Wellington at 745 o’clock yesterday morning, after having- been delayed 22 hours by bad weather on the trip n™ from Lvttejton. The vessel was hove-to off Cane Campbell, and afterwards cruised off the heads. She is completing her lading, and will sail from Wellington at noon to-day for London, via Panama. MISCELLANEOUS. The departure of the Hain Line steamer Trefnsis for Melbourne and Svdney from Dunedin was again delaved on Tuesday. On Monday her departure was delayed owln&to the heavy rain interfering with discharging operations, and she completed unloading on Tuesday morning.. Owing to the. strong wind on Tuesday it was not thought advisable to cast off the lines, and the vessel was expected to sail , yesterday morning.
