“NO DISEASE”

.WONDERFUL AMERICAN INSTITUTION llie erection of a wonderful institution in Denver City as the culmination of 35 years’ close study by Dr. J. H. Tilden was one of tne things that particularly impressed Dr. H. T: J. Thacker during an extended four from which he has just returned. The institution work:; to the slogan of “no disease,” and represents a new health mission.

When interviewed by a rejiresentative of The Dominion yesterday, Dr. Thacker said that a patient could either live alone at the institution, or with his family. Dr. Tilden did not permit the consumption of candy, sugar, ooffee, tea ? tobacco, or any food containing white starch, and substituted at every meal green vegetable*, toeat, and fruit, etc. A patient on entering the hospital was obliged to place himself implicitly in the hands of the doctor. “Humanity comes into the world as a clean machine .... it has a clean motor, and given the right petrol and the right oil it must run sweetly if the chauffeur is careful,” was the way Dr. Thacker said the American specialist summed up the situation. Another subject which Dr. Thacker made a very close study of whilst abroad was physio-theraphy, which, ho said, is achieving amazing results in the United States, and is claiming the attention of some of the highest specialists. It concerns the uso of electricity, ultra-violet rays, infra-red rags, and high frequency, as well as scientific massage, etc.
