SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

The hostess, Mrs. T. W. Hislop, at the Sailors’ Friend Society on Thursday gave the home touch to tho whole of the concert, much to the enjoyment of her guests, who demanded encores frequently. The performers were Misses Sullivan, K. Wylie, R. Wilson, and St. Leger, and Messrs. J. Carr, T« Jenkins, Tollerton, C. Hickmott, Blomgreen, Wallace. Grey. Miss St. Leger was at the piano. Hospitality was dispensed to the guests. Competition prizes were presented by Mesdames Smith and Fair, and were won by the Rimutaka and Port Victor. Cheers at the close were responded to by the Hon. T .W. and Mrs. Hislop.
