SYDNEY PLAYING GROUNDS

FOOTBALL BODIES’ AGREEMENT

(Rec. November 26. 9.5 p.m.) Sydney, November 26. Football bodies have reached a tentative agreement to overcome the difficulty in connection with the leasing of playing grounds. The agreement provides for co-operation in tendering for grounds after the expiry of the present leases, and as regards the new leases of the Agricultural Ground, that each body accepts equal financial responsibility and an equal division o' fixtures and dates. This will prevent any one body monopolising it. The agreement is subject, to ratification by the Rugby Union, the League. Australian and British Associations. — Press Assn.
