ENGLAND TO AMERICA

(Rec. November 26, 9.5 p.m.) New York, November 25.

A wireless telegraphic communication from England to America was successfully arranged to-night for the first time. Radio broadcasting by arrangement ceased in t.. 0 United States for an hour while eight British stations attempted east-bound communication. Receiving starions here heard a piano playing in Liverpool, calls of “Hello, America.” and other signals very clearly. 'lho tests will bp repeated three times in the coming week.—Aus.-N.Z.
