MOTOR VEHICLES BILL
AGITATION FOR PASSAGE THIS YEAR An endeavour is to be made by the Wellington Automobile Club to secure the passage of tlie Motor V ehicles Bill this session. At the monthly meeting of the committee yesterday it was decided to write to the Minister of Public Works and the members for the district directing attention to the urgent need for this long-delayed measure, both for the better control of motor traffic and the Provision of revenue for the Highways Board, which will be greatly hampered in its work until funds from this source are forthcoming. The president of the club, Mr. C. M. Banks, stated that the New Zealand Automobile Union was also taking the matter up .and the affiliated associations are being urged to impress tho members for their , districts with the urgent need for action.
