HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The Wellington Horticultural Society’s schedule of this year s shows is a particularly attractive one, and i caters for a very wide range of exhibits. The “R. A. Wright” and Evening Post” trophies arc again ottered to affiliated societies, together with two gold medals. An innovation in the shape of double prizes is offered for ladies’ decorated tables. Pansy growers are catered for with two attractive trophies. Children’s classes with many prizes have been added, while the successful exhibitor in classes 2 and 11 at the spring show will be awarded a £2O cash prize.
