BRITISH AGRICULTURE
POLICY OF EMPIRE PREFERENCE NEEDED.
London, June 10. The Empire Producers’ Organisation has issued a statement to the effect that the only way in which British agriculture can lie strengthened is by it freeing itself from Icreign food tiusts and combines. This can be achieved only by a genuine all-Empirc policy giving Britain the first and full right to her own market, and the next opportunity to the overseas Empire. The interests of the British and overseas farmers are common. Only by recognising this can the Home market be secured by the British and overseas producers. —Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
