Marlborough. TO-DAY’S ATTRACTIONS If last season’s results be any criterion, Rugby followers may look forward to witnessing some close contest* this afternoon. The star attraction. Berhampore v. Poneke, will occupy pride of position at Athletic Park, vn the occasion of their last meeting, Berhamporo secured the verdict by 9 points to 4, and since they claim that their strongest team will be assembled to-dav. Poneke, who are to play Hall and. Jim Tilyard in place of Baumber and Juno, may find it difficult work to turn the tables. Oriental, who ao~ oounted for Petone by 12 pointe to 6 last year, and defeated Poneke this season, will be matched against Petone at the Basin Reserve. Athletic, with last Saturday’s team, will tij conclusions with ’Varsity at Athletic Park as a curtain raiser to the big fixture. The ’Varsity team has gone to pieces since the departure of five of its star performers to« Sydney with the representative team, and it is highly improbable that on their present showing they will cause Athletic any concern. The recent performances put up by Wellington suggest that they will prove a worthy match for Marist at Kilbirnie. The remaining fixture is the game between Selwyn and Hutt at the Hutt ground. / TEAMS FOR TO-DAY Hutt senior v. Selwyn.—Power. Parker. Tetley, Lockett, Shanahan, McDougall, Christie, A. Cox, F.
