ANNUAL CONFERENCE OPENED

The annual conference of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ AssociaHon has opened, Mr. A. JD. Harper presiding. Resolutions were carried congratulating Sir Robert Nolan on receiving a knighthood; expressing sympathy with the Hon. D. H. Guthrie in his illness : and wishing bon voyage to Sir Donald McGavin. DirectorGeneral of Medical Services, who is now en route to England.
