WAR MEMORIAL
TO BANK OF NEW ZEALAND OFFICERS The war memorial which has been erected in a convenient niche in the main entrance to the Bank of New Zealand (on the corner of Lambton Quay, and Customhouse Quay), is to be unveiled at 4.30 p.m. on May 4, in the presence of tho directors and all the officers of the bank in Wellington who can make it convenient to attend. The memorial consists of a handsome plate of bronze, on which are inscribed the names of all the officers of the bank who served in the Great War, with the names of those who made the supremo sacrifice set out in a separate section below. t The bronze plate or scroll is centred ’in a magnificent grey marble panel, flanked on either side by marble columns,, and surmounted by a Grecian pediment.
