The Press Association reports that at its sitting in Auckland the Arbitration Court awarded Hubert James Broughton, farm labourer. £384 against Donald Finlayson, farmer. Dargaville, for loss of a leg caused by an injury sustained while rounding-up sheep.
The Gisborne Harbour Board passed a formal resolution to raise a loan of £1,000,030 for harbour purposes, chairman explained it >vss not intended to "aiso more than £750,000. —Press Assn.
