A message from Kalamazoo, Michigan, states that while at tho dinner table Father Charles Dillcn, assistant rector of the local Catholic Church, shot and killed Father Henry O’Neill, rector of the institution. Father Dillon explained that ho was driven to fury by ill-treatment from Father O’Neill for a long time, and 10-lay he armed himself in the expectation of a quarrel, which materialised. When tho two men met Father O’Neill asked Father Dillon to pack up nn-1 get out. Father Dillon responded by firing open his superior. Members of the ccngregation declare that Father Dillan suffered a nervous breakdown recently.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
