AMERICAN PLANS IN TURKEY

-PERTURBATION IN ALLIED CIRCLES ;.v : —- By telegraph.—Press association. . —Copyright. London, April 11. There is considerable perturbation in Allied, and particularly French, circles over Angora’s acceptance of the Chester agreement, which embraces many kinds of undertakings in and around covering also Adana. These imply the suppression of railway concessions to France on the eve of war against a loan of a milliard of francs, of which half a million was actually paid. It is suggested in some quarters that the Turks are insincere, aiming at the resumption of freedom of action towards the French and British financial groups. —Reuter.
