A film illustrative of the New Zealand meat industry was screened in Wellington yesterday. It has been prepared for the Meat Producers’ Board, which will send it and other films on the same subject to Britain for screening at tho British Empire Exhibition next year. Most of the scenes wore taken at one of the largest freezing works in the North Island. They show the details of the meat business with remarkable thoroughness, and are calculated to arouse interest at Home in the export meat trade of this country. When tho projected series of films of the meat industry is completed, it should be a good advertisement for New Zealand. New Zealand’s exhibits at tho British Empire Exhibition will include two moas, which aro being constructed by Mr. Hamilton/ nt tho Dominion Museum. They hare now reached tho stage when they are ready Tor feathering. They stand ten feet higE.
