DAMAGE BY DEER

A conference of representatives of acclimatisation societies and the Lands, Forests, Tourist, and Agricultural Departments will bo held in Wellington to-day to consider what should be done to prevent the deer herds of the Dominion from damaging agricultural and pastoral lands and forest reserves.
