DAMAGE BY DEER
A conference of representatives of acclimatisation societies and the Lands, Forests, Tourist, and Agricultural Departments will bo held in Wellington to-day to consider what should be done to prevent the deer herds of the Dominion from damaging agricultural and pastoral lands and forest reserves. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr. W. Downie ritowart) will be present.
