PRICES AT TIMARU BIDDING FAIRLY BRISK BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. Timaru, April 9. Tho fourth wool sale of the season was held this morning. A catalogue of 780 b'ales was offered, the quality being fair. A good sale resulted. There was a good bench of buyers, and bidding was fairly brisk. Good, medium halfbreds sold at an increase of about 5 per cent., three-quarter-bred made the same prices as at tho previous sale, crossbreds were par to 5 per cent, dearer, and pieces were about 5 per cent, above the previous sale’s rates. The range of prices was as follows: —

One of the biggest catalogues offered in Sydney was submitted. Bidding opened briskly, but later eased. The market was firm, and late rates were maintained. —Press Assn.
