WELLINGTON COLLEGE IN LIMELIGHT.

The Wellington College rifle shooting team, with an average of 66.8 from a total of 68, won the Weekly Press” challenge shield This shield is competed lor annually by Cadet Corns throughout the Dominion, and this' is tho first occasion it has come to Wellington. There were 91 teams in the competition. Mr. J. N. Millard trained the winning team. Jhe details of the shooting or the winning team are as follow:-G- Norton 68, 0 J Richardson 68, It. Mclndoe vB, AV Denison 68, L. Hazleton 68, It. Daniels 67, J. Ellis 67, It. M. Luxford 67 F. Reid 60, J. P. Bertram 63 The first five teams m Hie competition were:—No 4 Company, WoL lington College Cadets, A team, 66.8; A Company, 9th Battalion C.R. (Nelson College A team), 66./ ; No.llo Company, New Plymouth Boys High Scliool Cadets. 65.9; No. 11” Company, Scots College i Cadets (Al ellington) 65.6; B Company, 9th Battalion C.R.’ (Marlborough College), 65.5.
