Mr. Godfrey Isaacs states that the Marconi Company (of which he is the managing director) is ready to begin work on a high-power transmission station in the Midlands for direct communication ryith the Dominions, and is only awaiting Government licenses. The plant will cost between £2,000,000 and £3,000,000, and will bo capable of transmitting 35,000 words an hour, maintaining simultaneous contact with the six parts of the Em-pire.—Aus.-N.Z.
