WEEKLY MEETING. Tho weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was he.d last evening, the chairman (Mr. A. E. Wells) presiding. . Sub-committees were appointed as follow: —Chairman of committees, Mr. A. E Wells; Grounds and Championship Committees, Messrs. Banks, Levcrsßge Webster, jVlabin, and Goober, Postponement Committee, Messrs. Duncan and ’Wells; Finance Committee, Messrs. Wells, Duncan, and Williams; first division selectors, Messrs. Godber, Williams, and Webster; visiting officers to injured players, Messrs. Duncan and WellsAfter soma discussion, during which the conviction was expressed that the local authority was exploiting the sports bodies, it was decided to decline the Petone Borough Council s offer of a ground over tho stop-bank. It was decided to form a junior association of clubs representative of fourth class and under and invite the chibs to appoint their delegates. Championship entries, it was announced, would bo called for on April 17.
