* “SIX” STUDEBAKER FOR SALE ' AT £485. Messrs. Adams, Ltd., offer for sale the big “SIX” STUDEBAKER which was entered by them in the recent Reliability Trial conducted by. the Canterbury Automobile Association. This big, powerful touring car was the heaviest, loaded car in the trial, and carried six passengers with a total weight of 2 tons 3cwt. Despite this heavy loading, tho car camo through th® trial with maximum marks for reliability, and for petrol consumption 31.29 ton-miles. The powerful “Six”cylinder engine showed to great advantage in this test, most of the hills being taken on top gear. This car, which has had some usage, is nevertheless practically new in appearance. It is finished in a pleasing primrose shade, and is offered, at £485, £2OO less than the new price to-day. The big “SIX” STUDEBAKER is a prime favourite with the proprietors of motorcoach and taxi services for work over hills and rough roads with heavy loads, experience proving that this type of Studebaker gives extremely economical service under such conditimfs. The car now offered was equipped with six new Cord Tyres for the trials, and these are included in the above price. The opportunity of buying a car so thoroughly tested by the governing authority of motoring is one which should appeal to any cautious purchaser, -especially when ■£? means a saving of £2OO on .the price of a new car.
