WELLINGTON LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Wellington -Ladies’ Hockev Association was held last night.. There was a good, attendance of delegates. Air. E. C. Cathie, of the Beferoes’ Association, pointed out thatgirls showed a deplorable ignorance of the new rules, and he advised them to mnke it their business to learn all the rules. Play could never be improved unless this- matter was attended to. and the chances of junior girls teams nualifying as seniors were negligible. No action was taken. Thc Referees’ Association was granted -permission to appoint a delegate to the association’s committee to act in an advisory capacity.
