At the inquest in Christchurch concerning the death of Roland Shaw, 19 years of age, who fell over a cliff while out with a shooting party on the Cashmere Hills, the evidence showed that deceased had slipped while climbing down a 50ft. faco and had broken his neck. A verdict of accidental death was returned. —Press Asbu.
