VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE AT DARWIN
(Rec. March 30, 5.5 p.m.) Brisbane, March 30. Advices from Darwin state that a severe earthquake was experienced, which violently shook the town. —Press Assn. (Roc. March 31, 0.10 a.m.) Perth, March 30. A severe earth shock was felt at Port Darwin on Wednesday afternoon and a second one on Thursday morning.—Press Assn.
