INTERCHANGE OF SHIPS
, NAVAL CO-OPERATION BY TmEERATH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. —■OOMmiGHT. London, March 28 Replying to Sir C. Kinloch-Cooke, the First Lord of the Admiralty (Mr. L. Amery) said that after the Defence Council and Australia had recommended an interchange of warships betwean the Imperial fleets, the Admiralty expressed its willingness to co-operate in such interchange. The First Lord added that generally speaking the Australian Navy and the Royal Navy preserved their own individuality, but their relations in peace and war were set out in a command paper. —Aus.-N.Z.
