Mr. Byron Brown of Otaki, well known throughout tho Dominion, has sold the whole of his interest in Derbyshire’s (N.Z.), Ltd., to the managing director, Mr. J. W. Davys, Mr. Davys, accompanied by Mrs. Davys will leave by the Manuka for a few weeks’ visit to Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Mr. Gordon Snoad, formerly chinaware manager of A. J. White, Ltd., Christchurch, has been appointed warehouse manager and director. The out patients department of blip Wellington Hospital has been' closed from Friday until Tuesday inclusive. Urgent cases will bo treated at the main hospital.
