AMENDAIENT OF OFF-SIDE RULE.
London, March 27. The Football Association has amended the off-side rule, limiting the offside area to within 40 yards of the goal line. It also decided that no player except tho goalkeeper and the player taking a penalty kick should be within ten yards of the ball.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
