MR. CHAMBERLAIN AND CABINET NO WISH TO OBTRUDE WHERE NOT WANTED By Telegraph.—press association. —Copyright. (Rec. March 20, 8.5 p.m.) London, March 20, Mr. Austen Chamberlain, speaking at Birmingham, said that the hope had been expressed that he might soon rejoin the Cabinet. He did not desire to obtrude himself where he was not wanted, and he had no reason to suppose that Cabinet desired his presence. If anybody thought the tranquillity of the world could bo secured merely by a change of Government, the incidents of the last few months must have disillusioned them. He desired that the profit Government should continue in office to, find a satisfactory solution of some current problems. The Government unfortunately was suffering from lack of a clearly defined policy in various spheres.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [Mr. Chamberlain was a member of. the late Coalition Ministry, being Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Commons.] i
