After a separation of many years Michael Pull, ’bosun of the liner Karamet, and Albert Roberts, of the Wellington haxbourm«ster's staff, survivors of the tragic Dundonald wreck, met yesterday. It will be remembered that the Dundonald, barque, went to her doom ■ about seventeen years ago on DisannqinU ment Island, Auckland Islands, ana the survivors underwent extraordinary experiences until rescued by the Government steamer Hinemoa. HAURAKI AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company's trans-Pacific motor vessel Hauraki, 7113 tons. Captain D Todd, arrived at Auckland from ban Francisco on Saturday afternoon, and berthed on Monday morning. The vessel loazlGd at Ocean Falls, Powell River, Vancouver, and San Francisco. She arrived at Vancouver on February 15. and experienced very wintry weather at that port. There were two feet of snow on the Hauraki's deck, and the thermometer registered 25 degrees below freezing point. On the coast a severe blizzard was responsible for three vessels being wrecked. The Hauraki completed loaaiug at ban Francisco, and cleared there on. February 24. Fine weather was experienced in the Pacific until March 13, when the wind blew strongly from the westward, accompanied by a rough sea. It wae thought to be the tail end of a hurricane, but the stormy weather only lasted a day, and was followed by line weather to nort. Tho run from San Francisco to Auckland was made in 20 daysi 8 hours, at an average of 11.6 knots. Thia is the vessel's third voyage to New Zealand, •Old her second visit to Auckland. The vessel’s cargo consists of case oil and general merchandise. About 2800 tons of general cargo, including a, large quantity of rolls of paper, will be discharged at Auckland, as well as 29,000 cases of oil. The remainder of the cargo Is for Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney.

The C. and D. Line report that the Port Adelaide is now not expected at Wellington until Friday night from Wanganui roadstead for Homeward loading. At 3.4s’to'doek yesterday morning the Union Company’s Marama dronned anchor In the stream from Sydnev. The vessel berthed at No. 6 Queen’s Wharf shortly after 9 o'clock. Sydney was cleared at 11 o’clock on Friday morning, and light to strong southerly winds, with a considerable swell, were encountered throughout. The Marama brought 151 passengers. The Union Contpany’s collier Neakuta is expected at Lyttelton to-dav to discharge coal and timber from Grevmquth. The Calm, after periodical; overhaul, is expected to come out of dock at Port Chalmers to-day. She will sail to-mor-row from that port for Bluff, and u to load hence at Timaru on March K and at Lyttelton on March 27 for Wellington and Wanganui. She should arrive here on March 28. The Koromiko, from Wellington, vja Bluff, is due at Port Chalmers to-day to dock for overhaul. The Makura arrived at Sydnev at 7 o’clock on Tuesday morning from AuckTh’e Union Company report tljat the Kaikorai left Nukualofa at 3 p.m. on Monday for Auckland.
