HUTT PARK COMMITTEE

Tho Hutt Park Committee held its quarterly meeting at Petono this week. There were present E. P. Rishworth (chairman), R- A. Hartley, 0. x. Broc.kle.bank, O. L- Green, and G. Cook. . , , Permission to us® the grounds was granted to tho Congregational Union. Tenders were received for stalls -or afternoon teas, ieo creams, etc—that of Mrs. D. Handley was accepted. Application was made by the Hoekey Association for the use of the park. No. 1 ground was granted, at a charge of £4 4s. ' , , The Rugby Union also applied for the uso of a ground. —No. 2 was granted at a fco of £4 4s. Mr. Rishworth expressed appreciation of the work accomplished during his term as chairman of the committee. He said that every arrangement had been made for the convenience and comfort of the public.
