ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATIONS
St. Patrick’s Day will be fittingly observed in Wellingfton to-day. -Th® first part of the programme will be a procession from the Government Buildings to Newtown Park, in which eight tableaux will take part, as well as marching squads from the various Catholic schools, and two bands. Tho sports ait Newtown Park should prova a. big attraction. Other items of interest will be the national dancing competition, baby show, and grand spectacular figure drill display by 1000 children. The final portion of the programme will be the national concert in the Town Hall, for which the best of talent has been engaged. The box plan is now open at the Bristol.
