CITY’S ANTECEDENT LIABILITY
FINAL PAYMENT THIS MONTH The Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright, MP.) stated yesterday that the loan of £340,000 was all in order for tho clearance of the city’s “antecedent liabilities” by the end of the financial year. The deposits had all been paid, and the final amounts were due, and would bo met in London on March 28. This loan, bearing interest at the rate of 51 per cent, per annum, was issued at 99.
