BOUND FOR HOME. The Shaw-Savill Company have re. ceived cabled advice that the Arawa, which sailed from Wellington on February 18, was at Colon on March 13, en route to Southampton. ' The Maimoa, which cleared Nanier on February 18, reached Colon on March 10, bound to London, via New York and i Boston. PORT MELBOURNE LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Tho 0. and D. Company have received cabled information that the Port Melbourne sailed from Liverpool on Wednesday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She may bo expected at Auckland on April 20, and Wellington a week iater. THE PAPAROA. The Shaw-Savill Company announce that the Paparoa. now loading for the United Kingdom at Auckland, is to leave there to-morrow to load at Gisborne. Napier, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, and Wellington. Due here to 'complete on April 4, she will sail on April 7 for West Coast of England ports. ARMAGH TO COMPLETE. The Now Zealand Shipping Company announce that the Armagh, now loading at Lyttelton, is to leave there at noon to-morrow for Wellington, where she will arrive on Sunday. The Armagh is scheduled to sail at daybreak next Thursday for London. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Cruiser is now at Lyttelton discharging and loading for New York, Boston, and Montreal. She is to visit Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Picton. Wellington, and. finally Auckland to complete loading. She is due at Wellington on March 27. and Is to leave Auckland about April 4 for the United States and Canada. MISCELLANEOUS. G. T. Hull and Co. report that the John is expected at Wellington to-morrow from New Plymouth and Wanganui. She should get away to-morrow for Havelock to load timber for New Plymouth. The Union Company report that the Wingatui should arrive at Wellington on Tuesday from Dunedin, Oamaru. Timaru. and Lyttelton to load for Auckland. The Union Company’s Katoa is to leave Auckland this morning for Dunedin direct. She should arrive at Dunedin on Tuesday, and will then load for Wellington and Auekland. via Oamaru. Timaru. and Lyttelton. The Union Company's collier Karorl is expected to leave Lyttelton on Monday for Auckland direct. Coastal shipping at Lyttelton during this week is reported to be slack, after a busy week or two. Overseas shipping is brisk, however. The Wakatu is expected at Wellington on Sunday from Lyttelton and Kaikoura. She is to return to thi sport the following day. The Kennedy should reach Wellington to-morrow from Fox ton. She will load general cargo, and return to Foxton later tne same day. Captain R. Crawford will resume command of the R.M.S. Makura at Auckland to-day. vice Captain J. F. S. Brown, who will come ashore for instructions. Johnston and Co. report that the Putiki is due at Wellington ■ on Monday with a load of wool from the East Coast. The Ripple is due at Wellington today from the East Coast. She is timed to leave on her returp to Castlepoint, Napier, and Gisborne, at 6 o clock this evening The Union Company’s Corinna should reach Wellington from 'the south on Tuesday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. Due from the south to-day, the Kini will load for Napier and Gisborne The Opua (Charles McArthur and Co.) will now arrive at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton. She will get away tomorrow evening for Westport, and Greymouth with general cargo for’ that place and Hokitika.

Charles McArthur and Co. are the local agents The Holmdale is due at Wellington on Sunday from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She is to sail on Monday for Wanganui. The Canterbury Company’s steamer Gale is due at Wellington to-day from Wanganui. She is to get. away this evening for 'Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru. and Dunedin. Coal-laden, the Rakanoa is expected here at midday to-day from Westport. Both tho Kamona with coal and timber, and the Kakapo with coal and general cargo, left Greymouth yesterday morning for Wellington. The vessels are due Ihis morning. The Kamona is to put out a portion of her cargo at Miramar. The Union Company’s Kahika was expected to leave Nelson last evenin’- f<_New Plymouth. From the latter port she will oome to Wellington, and should arrive here on Sunday. The Wanaka is due at Wellington tomorrow morning from Auckland. She is to leave to-morrow evening for southern ports. The Manuka is timed to clear Bluff at 6.30 p.m. to-day for Melbourne direct. The coastal steamer Wairau. which left Wellington at 3.30 o'clock yesterday -afternoon, bound for Havelock, returned to port at 10.30 last night, owing to stress of weather. The captain reported that ,it was exceptionally boisterous in Cook Strait, and a heavy sea was running.
