BUILDING PROGRAMME THE WASHINGTON TREATY CHAMBER ASKED TO RATIFY IT ST TELEGRAPH—PBBSS ASSOCIATION. —Copyright. Paris, March 9. M. Raiberti, Minister of Marine, has tabled the Navy Bill. The first part, dealing with the High Seas Fleet, is based on the Washington Treaty, which the Chamber of Deputies is now asked! to (ratify. For tonnage not fixed by the Washington Treaty, the Bill proposes 360,000 tons for light vessels and 65,000 tons for submarines. A Bill for tho construction of large vessels between 1925 and 1930 will be submitted shortly.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
