J. Bagnall, who won the silver modal for cornet solo at the recent band contest at New Plymouth, is 13 years of age. He is a pupil of Lieut. Herd, and is being educated at Scots’ College, Miramar. Messrs. 8. George Nathan and Co. will offer at their rooms, 105 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, a number of properties by auction, as follows: — On March 20, six - roomed residence known as No. 19, Hawkestone Orescent ; also, on March 20, boardinghouse, 114 The Terrace, known as “Miss Malcolm,s” ;on March 21, 10roomed residence and valuable land, Boulcott Terrace; 30 seaside building sections at Titahi Bay on March 27.
