Th« .editor has replied that private offers will not be entertained. Mr. Scott Fell, through the Press, is now urging that the Commonwealth _ and State Governments, aided by private contributions, should make a strenuous effort to secure the record. Ho offers to contribute £2oo.—Press Assn.
