Sydney, January 16. In the course of an interview. Commodore Addison, commander of the Australian Navy, pleaded tor a wider appreciation of the Australian Squadron by the Australian people. He expressed a hope that the coming Imperial Conference would decide oil naval policy, and added that it was unfair for the men, of the squadron to be made uncertain as to the future, as such a. feeling hampered them considerably in their work.
