FAMINE-STRICKEN RUSSIANS
Copenhagen, January 12. 'The “Berlingske Tidende’s” Helsingfors correspondent says that a message from Moscow states that half a million people in South Russia have begun a move into Central Russia. Already many have died with fatigue and hunger. It is understood that tho Government has dispatched troops to turn the people back. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
