SEVERE DAMAGE IN NEW SOUTH WALES BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT. (Reo. January 14, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, January 14. A cloudburst and deluge of rain and hail did severe damage in the Wellington and Batlgjrst districts. Low-lying land was flooded, and great quantities of fruit and other crops were destroyed. Windows wore smashed wholesale. Washaways in the railways blocked traffic for several hours. —Press Assn.
