PROMINENCE TO BE GIVEN TO HORTICULTURE (Rec. November 5, 5.5 p.m.) London- November 3Tlrn Empire Exhibition will devote Considerable space tp horticulture, with -a, view to furnishing a complete record Of development of horticultural industries. Arens will be reserved for permanent occupation by hardy trees, shrubs, and herbaceous perennially.' Summer'flowerin'- plants will be displayed in artificial lakes. It is expected the grounds will be riftndy for permanent, planting in the spring. No charge will be made for sites. Plants. must be suitable to the surroundings and piaintained _in good order throughout the exhibition. A large hall of 12.000 feet floor space Will accommodate fruit. vegetables, and fonder plants. Several bortioi.lt.iral societies are being invited to hold exhibitions nt Wembley in 1924.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
